Tesoro Group is seeking an experienced Roving leasing agent to join their team at (1) of their properties in Minneapolis and West Metro (Bloomington, Eden Prairie, Minneapolis). The ideal candidate will have at least 1 years' experience in residential leasing. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, customer service skills and attention to detail. This role is contract to hire (90 days before conversion).

This role will be roving between 3-4 properties with 800 units.

Pay: $18-$22/hour DOQ.

Schedule: Tuesday – Friday 9AM – 6PM and Saturday 10AM – 5PM.

Responsibilities and Job Duties:

Leasing & Sales

• Show, lease, and welcome prospective residents to the property.
• Assist in completing market surveys and executing marketing strategies to maintain strong occupancy.
• Process rental applications accurately and efficiently.
• Guide residents through move-in, ensuring a smooth experience.

Resident Experience & Service

• Provide superior customer service, responding promptly and professionally to resident inquiries or concerns.
• Process maintenance requests and work with the team to ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain resident files with completeness and accuracy.

Operational & Administrative Performance

• Maintain daily updates of unit availability and community calendars.
• Perform regular inspections to ensure all units meet move-in ready standards.
• Support property management with administrative duties, phone support, and other tasks as needed.
• Conduct move-out inspections and assist with property turnover procedures.
• Handle resident collections in accordance with standards.

• Customer Focus: Passion for providing a high-quality, personalized experience for residents.
• Sales Drive: Consistently achieve leasing objectives while upholding the highest standards of professionalism.
• Organization & Efficiency: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize wisely, and maintain accurate records.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with residents, prospects, and the team.
• Problem Solving: Able to handle high-stress situations and resolve conflicts constructively.

Qualifications and Experience:

• At least 1 years' experience in residential leasing.
• Strong organizational skills, customer service skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task/meet deadlines.
• Be able to pass a Kari Koskinen background check before employment.
