    Job Description

    A national leader in the fitness industry is looking to expand their team in Foothill Ranch, CA!  We are seeking a qualified Assistant Sales Manager that are focused on driving sales and service excellence to expand our community!

    COMPENSATION & PERKS:

    • This position offers a very competitive base rate ($15/hour + 10% Commission structure = $25,000-$35,000/year)

    POSITION: The purpose of the Assistant Sales Manager is to assist the General Manager with sales, sales, and more sales.  The key requirements of the job are to focus on new membership sales by bringing new members to the studio, building a relationship, providing a positive experience, and successfully moving them through the sales process to a membership sale. The Assistant Sales Manager also assists with retaining and providing unmated customer service to current members. Boutique fitness knowledge or experience is preferred, but not required. This position is part-time position that requires availability to work a rotating, weekend, evening and/or morning shift.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Strong Focus on selling new memberships and upgrading current memberships to Unlimited Packages
    • Excellent sales, communication, and customer service skills required
    • Selling merchandise to current members and prospects to keep new rotation of stock 
    • Help train Sales Representatives on closing techniques and uncovering buying signs
    • Warm welcoming and engaging personality
    • Ability to build strong customer relationships
    • Goal-oriented with an ability to achieve sales in memberships, retail, and private training
    • Self-motivated and takes initiate
    • Ability to learn and use the ClubReady software system
    • Must have excellent communication skills via in person, phone and email
    • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
    • Must be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
    • Must have proficient computer skills
    • Occasional travel may be required for Pop-Up Events and other special events to drive new traffic to studio
    • High school diploma or equivalent required
    • Authorization to work in the United States required

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Execute sales process of lead generation, follow up, and close
    • Conduct tours of the facility while establishing a relationship and targeting individual’s goals and needs
    • Maintain acceptable level of personal sales production
    • Emphasize and enforce objectives of the club as a fitness and wellness provider
    • Present available services to current or prospective members
    • Book quality appointments to achieve monthly sales quota
    • Participate in special events (health fairs, grand openings, marathons, and community and hospital events) to promote the club
    • Assumes responsibility for developing selling skills
    • Process accurate cash and credit card transactions
    • Follow up & follow through activities with prospective clients
    • Input inventory for retail clothing and other items
    • Attend and complete all relative training programs
    • Take pictures for social media platforms
    • Light cleaning of the retail area, studio, and restrooms
    • Assist GM to help get through daily activities to free up to focus on lead generation
    • Other duties as assigned
