Job Description

SEEKING AN APPLICATION SERVICES PROFESSIONAL TO ASSIST THE DATA CENTER TEAM WITH DAILY SUPPORT OF INFRASTRUCTURE SYSTEMS, PRIMARILY ACTIVE DIRECTORY, FOCUSING ON CLOUD SERVICES. 

ACTIVE DIRECTORY CERTIFICATE SERVICES IS A BIG PART OF THIS JOB

PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO CANDIDATES IN THE EASTERN TIME ZONE

• You will help support the Active Directory Infrastructure. This includes the monitoring and management of the Domain Controllers, AD CERTIFICATE SERVICES, DNS, WINS and Azure Active Directory integrations.
• Assist department IT with certificate renewals and working on installations of those certificates which range upwards of a few hundred a month.
• Work with department IT for data entry tasks into the Data Centers Inventory management solution. This consists of meeting with IT support staff to gather accurate information for data center reporting.
• Provide the center support coverage during FTE vacations and holiday periods so the ServiceNow ticking responsibilities do not fall behind.

ABOUT THE TEAM:

The Application Services team supports a wide array of applications and critical infrastructure. Requirements and requests have grown substantially over the past year for this team for integrations with Active Directory and Azure AD in the cloud. 

The team also supports the renewals of secure certificates from our internal certificate servers as well as third party Entrust certificates in partnership with IT procurement. This requires the team to reach out to each certificate owner (sometimes in the hundreds a month) to verify certificate chains and work directly with those IT support staff to have these installed on their systems.

Also being completed is migrations of our Enterprise Print Servers to newer Hardware/software. This takes multiple meetings and scheduling with DWS and Field Services.

The team also receives many Data Entry type tasks from Service now to update Contact Information, application details, and system configurations into the Data Centers inventory management system.
