    Job Description

    The Accounting Specialist II will maintain all of the accounting records and systems, including payroll, accounts payable and receivables. Additional responsibilities include maintaining personnel files, working sales and cash, and assisting the Financial Controller with reports, balance sheets, and account reconciliation. This is a full time benefited position with vacation, holidays, sick pay, and insurances including Medical, Dental, Vision and Life.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES: _(_This list is not all inclusive.)

    · Work with payroll documents from HR for all new employees and maintain employee files.

    · Process payroll, prepare all time payroll reports and maintain sick and vacation records.

    · Prepare quarterly and yearly tax reports.

    · Prepare all year end W-2’s.

    · Basic knowledge of federal and state payroll regulations required.

    · Responsible for accounts payable including preparation of checks and reconciliation.

    · Prepare 1099’s.

    · Assist with daily cash work, and work with point of sale system.

    · Prepare accounts receivable invoices.

    · Work with Financial Controller to prepare monthly balance sheets, journal entries, and prepare account reconciliations.

    · Willingness to work weekends and Holidays when needed.

    EDUCATION PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 4-6 years accounting experience demonstrating an increase in responsibility.

    SKILLS: PROFICIENT IN MICROSOFT OFFICE, REPORT PREPARATION, PAYROLL, ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLES AND PAYABLES
