SUMMARY:

Warehouse Associates are in charge of a variety of tasks such as collecting and processing incoming stock and supplies, choosing and completing orders from stock, packaging and shipping orders, or managing, organizing, and retrieving stock and other items.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

The warehouse associate is in charge of almost all of the day-to-day operations that keep the warehouse functioning smoothly.

• Orders must be processed, packaged, and sent correctly.
• Organize goods and keep inventory Inspect products for flaws and damage
• Examine both inbound and outbound cargo.
• Organize warehouse space Receive, unload, and properly put arriving inventory items
• Customer invoices must be checked, verified, and filled out.
• Follow all of the company's safety and hygiene rules.
• Provide suggestions on methods to enhance or optimize warehousing practices.
• Maintain a clean and well-organized warehouse on a daily basis.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE:

In-house training is offered for most warehouse positions, and potential applicants may be recruited despite having no prior experience or understanding of warehouse operations.

• Warehouse experience is preferred.
• Capability to handle a forklift, hand truck, pallet jack, and other warehousing equipment
• Knowledge of the warehouse data system is required.
• Team player with strong organizational abilities
• Capability to lift and move heavy objects
• Diploma from a high school
