ROZEL provides arc flash evaluations and electrical safety training to industrial and commercial clients nationwide. Since 2011 we have completed thousands of evaluations for leading organizations in healthcare, energy, and manufacturing.

We are looking for a sharp individual with an electrical background. Currently we have the opportunity for a data collector to join us in making workplaces safer. If you have 480V 3-phase factory experience we want to talk with you!

DESCRIPTION:

Data collectors accurately record physical data about a customer’s electrical system. They remove and replace covers on energized electrical equipment such as switchboards, panelboards, motor control centers, and machine panels to perform visual inspections. Also consider:

• This position travels 40+ weeks per year to locations throughout the United States. A typical travel week is Monday-Friday with 10+ hour workdays.
• Worksite conditions vary greatly depending on the type of facility being evaluated. There will be tasks to accomplish both indoors and outdoors.
• Communication skills should include legible handwriting, knowledge of electrical symbols, and a basic proficiency in Word and Excel.
• Inspections occur near live electrical parts operating up to 600V. A background working near this type of equipment is required.
• Previous experience with arc flash evaluations, NFPA 70E, and electrical safety programs is helpful but not required - all PPE, tools, and training will be provided for this position.
• ROZEL operates from north-central Florida (Ocala) and uses Orlando (MCO) as a hub for air travel throughout the country. Since the data collector travels to the customer’s location, and off-site tasks are completed online, there may be flexibility with where our next data collector resides.
• Data collectors should love travel and be comfortable with the inner workings of industrial locations such as power plants and factories.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience working around energized 480V 3-phase equipment is required. An electrical engineering degree or journeyman electrical license is a plus.
• Capable of creating one line drawings
• Ability to complete hands on projects remotely
• Ability to use cloud based services from a phone and/or laptop for communication and transferring data such as drawings and photos.
• Must have a valid driving license.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to sit, stand, crouch, and crawl for extended periods
