Job Overview: Step outside the cubicle and embark on a leadership journey where you will gain experience working in teams, developing product concepts, implementing merchandising strategies, coordinating supply, and partnering with key team members. You will engage in both tactical execution of tasks, and strategic planning of initiatives. With the Rubies II Fast Track to Management Program you will learn what it takes to be a successful manager at Rubies II, and you will do it in a position of high visibility and substantial responsibility. The Rubies II Fast Track to Management Program is a rotational development program designed to develop the leadership, strategic planning, and business acumen necessary to succeed in our business and enable rapid career progression. Through personalized learning experiences and on-the-job training, you'll develop a global and strategic view of the costume industry. Throughout the three year program, you will work with 3 different functional areas, custom selected to fit your skills and interests. Each year you will move into a new role and gain additional understanding for how each department works, and how they come together to deliver to our customer's needs. You may find yourself participating in and leading teams working in Product Development, Sales, Supply/Fulfillment, and overall Administration. During each rotation, you will be paired with a leader in that area who is there to support you and help you grow. Your mentor will provide development guidance and personal attention. This career path will ultimately lead you to a role in management and a pathway to become a senior leader at Rubies II LLC. Essential Functions: * Experience three unique management functions for approx. 12 months each with your mentor and Manager's support and guidance to prepare you for future leadership opportunities. * Learn the responsibilities for the functional team, and then step into a leadership role on projects identified to help you achieve success. * Analyze trends, identify business opportunities, execute strategies, and collaborate with key partners to influence business decisions. * Regular, dependable attendance & punctuality. Qualifications and Competencies: * Bachelor's Degree from a 4-year college or university * A cumulative 3.0 GPA minimum is preferred. * All majors will be considered for this opportunity. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to read, write, and interpret instructional documents such as reports and procedure manuals. * Strong business acumen and ability to analyze data to discover trends and make decisions. * Leadership experience and ability to solve problems and drive results through others. * Intellectual curiosity, positive attitude, self-motivation, and curiosity about developing a modern retail business. * Passion for the products and industry. * Attention to detail and the ability to execute plans and strategies. * Organizational skills are crucial to being successful in this role. * Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and company needs. * Candidates must possess enthusiasm, be motivated, energetic and focus to do the job, Physical Requirements: * Requires periods of walking, standing, communicating * Frequent use of computers and other technology/software is necessary to perform job responsibilities.
