Join the family-owned and passionately operated Ruffin Inn, a pet boarding facility known for its core values of providing a safe and fun environment for pets in a family-like environment. We are looking for a Kennel Assistant or Lead who shares our commitment to animal welfare and is ready to treat every animal in our care as part of the family.

Responsibilities

Provide daily care for the animals at our facility, ensuring their needs are met with love and attention.

Engage in activities like feeding, cleaning suites and play spaces, supervising, and posting content to social media.

Create and maintain detailed records of the animals' feeding, meds, temperament, and preferences.

Collaborate with a team that values safety, trust, reliability, integrity, customer service and fun - ensuring the highest standard of pet care.

Assist in greeting and communicating with customers, contributing to a welcoming and transparent environment.

Qualifications:

Previous experience working with animals is desirable.

Familiarity with good animal handling procedures and best practices.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their well-being.

Pay range based on experience and role/responsibility
