We're seeking a mature, reliable, energetic and engaged summer Nanny for our 10-year-old daughter. She loves to read, research interesting ideas and topics, create crafts, ride horses, swim, ride bikes, play basketball, and run. (We do little to no screens or TV.) We're a polite family and hope to find a Nanny who will be the right match for our daughter. High English fluency required (our daughter speaks like an adult) and bilingual a plus. Perfect applicant must love animals -- we have one dog, one cat, a fish tank, and our daughter takes English horseback riding lessons, so you'll interact with our pets on a daily basis and take her to the horse barn at least once a week. We're seeking a salaried, full-time Nanny who can be flexible with hours and open to potential overnight stays when both parents are traveling. Salary comensurate with experience and paid above board with Medicare and Social Security deducted and w-2 issued at the end of the year. Mileage paid for driving daughter to museums, barn, etc. Memberships to local outings provided. Daily/weekly responsibilities will be outlined in our Nanny Handbook and include: daily time playing, reading, crafting, swimming, and interacting positively with our 10-year-old daughter. Daily meal prep for 10-year-old and Nanny, plus clean up of items used. Light pick-up/cleaning as needed after activities in the house. Weekly assisting with child's laundry as needed. Prior to potential overnight stays, full overnight duties/responsibilities will be outlined and discussed. Prior experience and references required. Background check must be clean. Current CPR & First Aid Training Required. Must have reliable, safe transportation and clean driving record, and be willing to drive to activities, as well as chart and submit mileage for work-related reimbursement.
