Enjoy our PRIVATE one-acre dog park with Dog Mountain, a huge dirt pile where dogs dig and PRIVATE Dog Pool that is custom-built, heated, has a state of the art cleaning and disinfecting system and is maintained by the owner, a Certified Pool Operator and retired Physician Assistant who has been involved in dog rescue most of her life. Because Rummy's is completely PRIVATE, we attract dogs with issues - behavioral issues, aggressiveness, reactivity, old dogs, handicapped dogs, pregnant dogs, unaltered dogs, really big dogs & really small dogs. Some dogs need more time to learn new things. Some dogs don't want to socialize with other dogs. Some dogs have medical issues. Some dogs are just different. At Rummy's we give dogs the time they need, the space they need. We teach dogs to swim, jump in the pool, dive underwater, chill on big pool floaties or dress them (and you) up for silly pictures. You have the entire facility to yourself and can bring up to 3 dogs and 3 people age 16 and older. We have a cane, walker and wheelchair that go in the pool because our large shallow beach entry has no steps. For 12 years, people have been celebrating birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, weddings and.well, we mostly celebrate everything. When a dog jumps in the pool - YAY! When a dog that is scared learns to swim - YAY! When a dog that had a leg amputated swims again for the first time - YAY! We use positive methods and don't force or throw dogs in the pool. We are here to help you and your doggies have FUN! There will be 1-2 staff members helping you and taking pictures & videos of your dogs having fun to share on social media - Facebook, Instagram, You Tube, Google, Tik-Tok, Twitter, Yelp & we text them directly to you!
