At Rural Mutual Insurance you’ll be responsible for managing policy transactions and addressing inquiries from both sales agents and customers with promptness and accuracy. Responsibilities: • Process policy transactions by reviewing our insurance Product Line's new business, changes, and renewals based on established guidelines. • Accurately complete service requests including entering information into the appropriate computer system in a timely manner. • Work with underwriting staff to resolve coverage questions. • Answer Inquiries from Agents, Agent Assistants, Customers, and 3rd parties regarding policy or billing via various channels and respond accurately, promptly, and in a professional manner. • Maintain an acceptable productivity and quality level by working with your Manager to understand processes and procedures. • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed. Qualifications: • Two years of office experience, preferably in property and casualty insurance. • Proficient PC skills, including accurate and speedy keyboarding • Effective written and verbal communication skills, including excellent telephone skills • Ability to keep information confidential. • A team player with proven customer service experience. • Problem-solving skills. • Participation in industry-related programs such as IIA etc. preferred. • Bilingual abilities (Spanish, Hmong, etc.) are a plus.
