    Rural Mutual of Wisconsin is looking for individuals to learn the multi-line insurance business. We pay a base salary (not a draw off commissions or a loan) plus commission as well as bonuses for up to three years as you learn.    Insurance companies are typically looking for a pure salesperson, but Rural Mutual is looking for someone who is hard working, likes to interact with and help people and is results driven. Responsibilities: • Working with local businesses and homeowners, developing relationships and explaining the benefits of Rural Mutual's product line • Providing exceptional customer service, yearly policy reviews to policyholders • Daily cold calling (via phone or in person) to local business and farm operations • Daily meetings with business, farms, and/or families to discuss insurance needs, policy reviews, proposal meetings • Keep on top of industry trends, policies, etc. • Work in conjunction with underwriting, claims, customer service departments, and other cross functional partners • Maintain P&C, and life Insurance licenses through continuing education • Solid computer skills (Microsoft applications, Outlook, etc) Qualifications: • Must be willing to be P&C and life licensed • Detail and process oriented, time management expertise • Ability to network in community, establish business relationships • 1-2 years outside sales experience • Strong desire to achieve financial success, highly motivated • Must love to "hunt" for new business, and prospect • Participate in networking events in local area • Travel throughout region to conduct face to face meetings • Provide custom insurance proposals and present solutions to Business owners, Farm owners and family households • Strong presentation skills • Cold calling experience a plus Compensation: $30,000 - $45,000 (plus Commission and Bonus)
