A members-only private club, Willow Point offers a family-friendly atmosphere and activities calendar throughout the year. Membership at Willow Point is by application only with sponsorship by current members required. Willow Point is a lakefront golf course located on beautiful Lake Martin in Alexander City, AL. The course features 18 holes of championship golf and two unique experiences: the links-style front nine holes with fairways protected by trees and fescue grass—and the back nine, where Lake Martin comes into play on six holes. In 2003, the entire course, including the practice facility, entry road and clubhouse was renovated. The world-renown architectural firm of Hurdzan / Fry was selected based on their reputation for designing some of the most beautiful, challenging and environmentally sound golf courses in the world. Today, the course measures 7,465 yards from the championship tees, and include six sets of tees to accommodate all levels of play. Twelve holes are located along the shores of Lake Martin – and all 18 holes have a view of the lake. The Bermuda fairways are accented by native grasses, tall fescue as well as stone and rock work bordering the lake.
