    Job Description

    Our client, a leading women's fashion retailer, is looking to add a talented Internet Merchandiser to their growing team. 

    JOB SUMMARY:  The Digital Merchandising Manager localizes the experience of client's website and leads the production and optimization of the international digital store with data-driven decisions. This role requires understanding the end-goal for each brand they'll be managing (2) and the requirements to deliver, an ability to identify data needs and synthesize recommendations and effective communications skills. The ideal candidate must be an effective communicator who emphasizes accountability in decisions, continuous improvement and motivation via strong leadership, high energy & urgency to deliver growth across countries/regions and find creative solutions to complex problems will succeed.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Has a deep understanding of the brand vision and category drivers
    • Works with the international team & cross-functional partners to create site "floor plan" distortions and ensure site is on-brand, has a holistic and relevant point of view, and that all relevant site capabilities are fully utilized.
    • Able to dig deep and define localized needs and behaviors
    • Drives business results through analyzing daily/weekly/seasonal results and site/customer metrics.
    • Analyzes site and customer KPIs for desktop, mobile & tablet; acquire actionable market insights.
    • Communicates clearly across functions to define requirements, manage resources, & set expectations.
    • Facilitates digital asset reviews and manage the feedback loop with partners/stakeholders.
    • Utilizes content management systems to localize the Int’l vs.com experience & enforces digital production standards across site
    • Supports Personalization and A/B testing efforts for their categories
    • Accountable for navigation of site content and results (sales $s, CTRs, abandonment, etc.)
    • Demonstrates leadership to foster productive cross-functional, stakeholder, and vendor relationships.
    • Provides thought leadership as it relates to customer, marketing, content, and localization.
    • Identifies what the customer wants, how she shops, and what drives conversion.

    REQUIRED SKILLS: 

    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
    • Digital merchandising experience with a multi-category e-commerce website.
    • Ability to perform at a manager level.
    • Meticulous attention to details & deadlines; work well under pressure with a focus on solutions.
    • Ability to self-prioritize & manage multiple simultaneous projects; exemplary time management skills.
    • Self-motivated team player with excellent written, verbal, and listening skills.
    • High intelligence and analytical curiosity with an entrepreneurial risk-taking mentality.
    • Intimate understanding of competition, target customer and brand-relevant fashion trends.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, experience using a content management system, and experience with site analytics tools (Adobe preferred)
    • Minimum 5 yrs experience in digital merchandising
