Job Description

 Our client,  an American fashion retailer, is seeking a Digital Asset Specialist to join their team in Columbus, OH!

The Asset Specialist strategically implements and manages the Digital Asset Management (DAM) system which houses all final creative assets including product photography, model photography, print and digital graphic design files, brand assets, video, music, and other digital content. Given that digital assets are the final deliverable of nearly all creative work, the Digital Asset Coordinator will report to and work closely with the Marketing Manager. This will ensure that organization and distribution of digital assets is tightly integrated with creative workflows and processes. 

• Support the migration of digital assets 
• Ingest files into system, including legacy files 
• Input and review metadata
• Register internal and external users to Marketing Workflow and Asset Management systems based on permissions 
• Implement and maintain metadata schemas that reflect the true needs of the business 
• Responsible for status updates on, but not limited to, asset usage and system health
• Maintain workflows for the use of assets in all relevant systems 
• Document protocol for downloading, renaming, backing up, rating, grouping, archiving, optimizing, maintaining and exporting all files
• Document role-specific user training pertinent to all asset management systems 
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to resolve all system-based issues 
• Listen, learn and adapt to changes in the business needs of the organization
• Keeps informed of latest Digital Asset Management technology trends and innovations
• Supports ingestion and updates to the Vendor Management System
• Responsible for comp orders
• Work closely with comp house on orders
• Partner with Photo Shoot Producer to ensure comps are onset as needed
• Maintain 3D sample room meta data and organization of physical and digital assets in partnership with vendor
• Comps…. Coordinate shoot product comp (models) orders with cross-functional partners 
• Collect and organize product components to ship to comp studios 
• Manage timelines with cross-functional partners and comp studios 
• Sample Room….. Collect and organize BBW shoot and PR samples
• Oversee Sample Room
• Traffic samples to ensure we know where samples are: floorsets, PR, shoots, post studios etc.
