Healthcare Capabilities & Insights Junior Analyst- contractor

What You’ll Do

You'll work with our central pandemic response team to track and analyze public health responses to the Covid-19 virus, including updates and analysis on levels of regulation & restriction in US states, and key advancements in the world’s understanding of how the virus spreads and is contained.

You'll also have the opportunity to further leverage your understanding of healthcare trends, issues, and concepts to efficiently respond to complex research questions by delivering synthesized, actionable facts and insights on a variety of healthcare topics to our consulting teams and clients. Typical topics include: value-based care, health insurance operations, hospital systems, health benefits and clinical metrics.

You will work alongside senior knowledge professionals on larger client projects and internal knowledge initiatives. By collecting and analyzing data and information found in databases and/or other primary and secondary research tools, you will assemble a fact base, counsel consultants and clients on the scope of the business and economic trends surrounding the issue, and provide insights and analysis for solving client problems at hand.

Your Background

■ Bachelor’s degree in major with economics or healthcare focus preferred (e.g., business, economics, public health, clinical medicine, etc)

■ 0-2 years of relevant industry, research or analytics experience

■ Basic understanding of the US & Local country health system, notably current trends, key characteristics and major players; previous experience in these sectors is preferred but not a prerequisite

■ Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

■ Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization

■ Proven record of leadership & independent ownership in a work or team setting
