Title: Customer Service Representative
Shift: Day Shift
Salary: $42,000 - $45,000 based on skills and abilities
Who we are:
Our client is an independently owned and operated manufacturer of cold-headed fasteners providing fasteners for many industrial consumer applications, including automotive, truck and trailer, farming equipment, material handling equipment, recreational vehicles, and sports equipment.
Customer Service Representative Role:
We are looking for a customer service representative preferably with a manufacturing background to act as a liaison, provide product/service information and resolve any emerging problems that our customer accounts might face with accuracy and efficiency. This individual will handle all aspects of the customers’ needs and requests; process orders received, respond to all customer inquiries regarding shipments, products, and concerns.
Customer Service Representative Responsibilities:
- Enter purchase orders into ERP and CRM system and confirm orders to the customer in a timely fashion
- Create jobs into ERP system for production schedule, including job number, quantity, and due date
- Maintain all customer releases with current and accurate information
- Update product pricing as necessary
- Act as a liaison between customers and other departments within the company
- Answer incoming customer calls regarding billing issues, product problems, service questions and general customer concerns
- Update customer information in database as needed
- Maintain sales backlog report
- Customer satisfaction survey
- Assist other office personnel with main telephones
About You:
- 1-year experience in sales, customer service and/or expediting in a
- manufacturing environment preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Proficient in MS Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Outlook.
- ERP and CRM experience preferred.
- Self-motivated with strong work ethic and ability to work on multiple projects with minimum supervision.
- Hard working and motivated by success with the ability to work independently or as a team member.
- Excellent oral communication skills and proficient time management skills.
- Ability to collaborate and communicate within all levels of the company
- Ability to react appropriately under pressure.
