Title:  Maintenance Technician

Shift: 2nd shift (1:45pm - 10:00pm)

Salary: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Working with a variety of machinery throughout the facility, the Maintenance Technician will help ensure quality performance of the machines and integrity of the building and grounds. 

Maintenance Technician Role:

To maintain quality performance of machines and equipment as well as the integrity of the building and grounds while contributing to continuous improvement efforts.

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance tasks - encompassing oiling, and greasing of equipment. Additionally, clean equipment and surrounding area of excess lubricants, oil and debris on the floor

• Troubleshoot and repair of steel processing equipment

• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Write routine reports. And communicate effectively with team members

• Open the building for startup of the facility for the weeks production, and shut down equipment and secure the facility for the weekend

• Some mandatory overtime

Maintenance Technician Reporting Relationships:

• Will report to the maintenance supervisor

About You:

• High-school GED or equivalent minimum. Some college and/or certifications preferred

• Previous maintenance experience preferred

• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

• Mechanically inclined

• Experience with welding, electrical, hydraulics, plumbing, or carpentry would be a plus but not required

• MUST HAVE a valid driver's license
