    Title: Field Service Technician (Low Voltage)

    Shift: Day Shift, will be traveling overseas, around the United States and also working at the Warren facility.

    Pay: $25.00 to $28.00+/hr, perks included with traveling

    Who we are:

    Our client manufactures custom magnetics including transformers, reactors, chokes, inductors, and custom enclosures. They are looking to grow their team at their facility near Warren, OH.

     Field Service Technician (Low Voltage) Role:

    We are looking for a field service technician that will be traveling to customer sites to assist with machines and equipment. This will include travel around the United States and overseas. When you are not traveling you will be working in the Warren facility.

    Field Service Technician (Low Voltage) Responsibilities:

    • Installation, repair, and maintenance of induction power supplies, coils, furnaces, refractory lining, water systems, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, and material handling equipment, and PLCs.
    • Working on 480 volt, and higher, single and three-phase, AC circuitry, as well as higher voltages at times will be necessary.
    • Good customer relation skills, as pertaining to the servicing of such equipment, is also a requirement.
    • Assisting customers in the installation of furnace refractory, and diagnosis of refractory problems, and working in adverse environmental conditions is also required.
    • Travel, both domestic and international, to customer sites is mandatory, and may constitute as much as 90% of the time on the job with occasional travel in excess of 8 weeks continuous.
    • Test, and assembly departments during unscheduled time.
    • Training of less experienced personnel, handling customer calls, looking up customer drawings, and assisting the service department support staff in any way necessary during the normal course of business.
    • Other duties as assigned by his/her direct supervisor.

    About You:

    • 1-2 Years Experience in industry.
    • US Passport
    • Familiarity with brickwork would be helpful.
    • Ability to climb ladders.
