    Title: CNC Punch Press (Turret)

    Shift: 1st Shift, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

    Salary: $18.00 - $24.00/hr, depending on experience

    Location: Highland Heights, OH

    Our client is a leading stamping company with 70+ years of commitment to entrepreneurial innovation and precision. It is a full-service, short-run stamping and fabrication facility with state-of-the-art laser cutters and superior equipment across 3 facilities in 2 states.

     

    CNC Punch Press (Turret) role: 

    As a CNC Punch Press Operator, you will prepare steel, aluminum, or stainless steel sheet stock up to 5/16” thick, and fabricate finished products to customer requirements using a CNC Punch Press (Trumpf).

    CNC Punch Press (Turret) Responsibilities:

    • Setup, program-edit and run the assigned pieces of equipment.
    • Load, install and correctly set up the required tools.
    • Report and document basic material, production and quality control data.
    • Perform daily preventative maintenance at the operator level as required.
    • Must be willing to learn and operate other fabrication equipment including shear, drill presses, CNC Brake Press, 2D Laser, hardware insertion presses and other general fabrication equipment.
    • Must be able to finish product with grinders, sanders and hand tools as required.
    • Perform daily maintenance to assigned equipment to keep in proper working order.
    • Ability to read blueprints and perform in-process inspections.
    • Safely move material using pallet jack or fork truck if qualified.
    • Clean and maintain an orderly work area.
    • Assist other individuals in area when needed.

    About You:

    • H.S. Diploma or equivalent may be required.
    • 5+ years of applicable experience
    • Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required.
    • Must be able to read and understand blueprints.
    • Ability to check product with tape measure, calipers, micrometers.
    • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen.
