    • Assist in the productive operation of assigned machinery
    • Read and follow requirements on work orders
    • Accurate completion of production paperwork
    • Follow established Quality guidelines
    • Rotation assignment at the work center
    • Maintaining a clean and orderly work environment
    • Understand and Follow Company Safety guidelines
    • Requesting supplies as needed to maintain a continuous process
    • Involvement in Continuous Improvement Projects
    • Other responsibilities as required for smooth operation of shift & department as a whole

    Required Skills Required Experience

    • Must be able to read, write and do basic math
    • Good communication & cooperation with coworkers and supervisors.
    • Proven ability to maintain acceptable production rates.
    • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
    • Receptiveness to overtime required in department
    • Receptiveness to cross training and rotational assignments
    • Acceptable attendance record
    • Experience with indicated machinery a plus
    • Proven paperwork accuracy

  • Qualifications

    IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

    • Set- up machine based on job specifications (print plates, cutting dies, ink and raw material)
    • Feed machine with raw material
    • Run orders on corrugated machinery based on job ticket product specifications
    • Perform product quality checks for sheet and print quality based on order specifications using measuring tools and ink swatches.
    • Trouble shoot and fix any non-conformance issues
    • Placed finished product on pallets and verify load quantities and tags are correct of finished product
    • Prepare machine for upcoming orders (adjust side rails, stage ink and print plates, verify raw material)
    • Ensure all PPE is being worn at all times
    • Follow all safety standards established for each machine
    • Submit STOP cards identifying safety hazards

     

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Minimum of 2+years’ experience working in a corrugated manufacturing environment
    • Prefer machine operation experience
    • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
    • Basic computer skills
    • Basic math skills (add/subtract/multiply)
    • Ability to work in a non-climate controlled and physical work environment. (up/down stairs, lift up to 30 lbs., stand for long periods of time, bending and stooping)
