Church Mutual is looking to add an Advisory Functional Analyst to our Enterprise Data Warehouse IT team! This individual enjoys investigative analysis and is detailed oriented. The Functional Analyst will create and develop functional specifications for multiple platforms and software systems, define the system processes that support business needs, design application flows, work with developers and business analysts in translating and creating requirements, map internal and external system data, document system performance, scalability, and availability specifications. Needs to be very data oriented.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Data Analasys including data profiling, data mapping and data discover.
- Create/develop functional specifications for multiple platforms and software.
- Work with application developers by translating business requirements into functional specifications and source to target mapping documents.
- Design application flow to automate business processes and meet business needs.
- Document needed performance, scalability, and availability of applications.

Required Experience
- Bachelor's degree in related field (e.g., business, finance, or technical) or equivalent experience required.
- 3+ years’ experience in a Functional Analyst role or equivalent, with working knowledge of information systems, business operations, requirements, and integration/design solutions.
- Related insurance industry experience preferred.
- Related experience with either claim or external (customer) facing systems like websites or portal required
