    DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES:

    • Responsible for the daily tracking/tracing of all import shipments; working with our       freight forwarders, customs brokers, ocean carriers and internal stakeholders to ensure                  freight is moving and delays are communicated to the Team.
    • Facilitates relationships with our carrier partners to create open communication
    • Monitors freights pick up/deliveries and the routing of shipments in our 3rd Party TMS system
    • Assists in the audit of freight bills, POD requests and the filing of claims
    • Assist the export department in the creation of documents that meet governmental standards and help ensure goods can cross the border and be cleared by customs upon arrival at destination
    • Responsible for the timely investigation and mitigation of transportation claims
    • Be able to back-up, support, and train with other transportation support team members.
    • Respond, collaborates & communicate effectively with other departments in the organization pertaining to transportation operations.
    • Participate as an effective team member with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. 
    • Other job duties as assigned

    Required Skills Required Experience

    EDUCATION                            

    Bachelor’s Degree in Business related field, or equivalent work experience required

    ATTENDANCE

    Regular attendance is an expectation of performance to ensure adequate staffing and meet expected productivity throughout the organization; employees will be held accountable for adhering to their workplace schedule.  Due to customer needs may be required to work additional hours including weekends as necessary.

    EXPERIENCE

    • 3+ years of Traffic, Order Delivery related experience in distribution, warehouse and production environment.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain or General Business preferred.
    • Experience with WMS software including JDE preferred.
    • Experience creating SOPs.
    • Strong Microsoft Office experience including, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
    • Demonstrated written & verbal communication skills.

  • Qualifications
    • B.S. degree in a scientific, engineering, or other applicable technical or analytical discipline. 
    • Security Clearance: Top Secret with SCI (TS/SCI)
