- Productive operation of assigned production line in department
- Accurate completion of production & inventory control documentation
- Inspection of raw materials and finished product for quality assurance
- Operate label printing equipment
- Make minor maintenance adjustments and size changes
- Ensure accuracy of all labels generated during production
- Maintaining a clean and orderly work environment
- Understand and follow Company safety guidelines
- Requesting supplies as needed to maintain a continuous process
- Involvement in Continuous Improvement Projects
- Other responsibilities as required for smooth operation of shift & department as a whole
Required Skills
Required Experience
- Good communication & cooperation with coworkers and supervisors.
- Proven ability to maintain acceptable level of efficiency.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to read, write and do math at a high school level, successful scoring on math testing
- Willingness to train for computer data entry and retrieval, (prior experience a plus)
- Receptiveness to overtime required in department
- Receptiveness to cross training and rotational assignments
- Acceptable attendance record
- Average weight lifted with assistance is 25-50lbs
- Must be able to stand and work on cement floors for 8-12 hours at a time
