    The Business Analyst, Clinical Content SME is a multi-functional role, providing actionable business insights and working with stakeholders to understand, define, and communicate requirements so that business and/or technical delivery teams can execute effective solutions. In this client facing role the candidate has a thorough understanding of medication order workflows, from provider order entry through pharmacy adjudication and fulfillment. This role requires excellent communication, organizational and analytical skills to effectively collaborate across clients, clinical users, project teams and technology teams.

    RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:

    • Act as a subject matter expert for the business, with the ability to provide in-depth knowledge of workflows, products, business process logic, and data definitions.
    • Help business users articulate product requirements by collaborating with business units and stakeholders.
    • Develop a deep understanding of our products and how they impact clinical workflows.
    • Serve as an extension of Product, Engineering, Sales, and Data Analytics, supporting client workflow refinement and delivery.
    • Support Product in solutioning client needs and identifying optimal outcomes.
    • Help Product Owners define clear acceptance criteria for product enhancements and features.
    • Support Client Success in stakeholder education and training for new solutions and capabilities.
    • Author and deliver release communications to clients, detailing different levels of changes to clinical content products.
    • Work cross-functionally to analyze and author recommendations regarding client understanding and market needs.

    IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Strong understanding of one or more of the following markets: clinical decision support, provider workflows, electronic health records, electronic prior authorization, or real-time prescription benefits.
    • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with proven experience working within cross-functional teams.
    • Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to summarize information from a variety of sources into clear and actionable next steps.
    • The ability to establish/maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence.
    • 5+ years of experience operating in relevant roles (pharmacy, CPOE, business/clinical analyst, etc.) within healthcare environments (healthcare systems or healthcare EHR delivery roles).
    • Experience with requirements gathering and working with technical teams.
    • Ability to work on multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously.

    This is a full-time position based in Denver, Colorado but remote options are available.  The successful candidate must already have authorization to work in the United States.     COMPENSATION

     $90,000 to $105,000 Annually
