We're a young and active family of four in Sunset Park / Greenwood Heights looking for a compassionate caretaker of two girls ages 7 (3rd grade) and 9 (4th grade) for 15 / 25 hours weekly. Starting in Mid-July we'll need someone to pick up our girls from camp, bring them home- and occasionally to after-camp activities or play dates. Evenings mean pickup from camp around 5p until we get back around -7p each weekday with one later night per week to 10p. If you're interested in more hours and are willing to do drop-off in the morning (7a-8:30/9a) we can add an additional 8-10 hours per week. We're looking for someone who will actively engage with them and be willing to play with them in our home or backyard and take them to nearby parks, playgrounds or for bike rides and walks. The girls will need dinner prepared until we arrive home at 7p. One night a week, traditionally Wednesday but flexible, we'd need coverage until 10p which means making sure the girls are showered, have their reading time and are tucked in. The ideal candidate will: Be proactive, engaging and enthusiastic Be fully vaccinated (we are a fully vaccinated household) Be comfortable riding their bike, or taking a Citibike home from camp. Our girls are seasoned city riders and we only ride in good weather. Have excellent references $25/hr
