JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Certified Technicians perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with each specified dealership standards
- Certified Technicians diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, manual transmission, automatic transmission, etc. to specification
- Certified Technicians complete Vehicle Report Cards to identify additional automotive repairs and recommended maintenance
- Certified Technicians explain the vehicle diagnosis and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customers
- Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions to stay abreast with rapidly changing technology.

Required Skills
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Must have 3-5 years of automotive mechanic/technician experience
- FORD, NISSAN, MAZDA, CHRYSLER, SUBARU, JEEP, KIA, CHEVROLET, HYUNDAI, RAM OR LINCOLN CERTIFICATION IS REQUIRED
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Team oriented, flexible, and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
- Working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, transmissions, etc.
