    Position Overview:

    We are looking for an A/V Engineer to join our team on an effort supporting our Federal Government Client in Washington, D.C. (Telework not permitted) The primary scope of this position will support various Communication Support Unit (CSU) tasks associated with the delivery of communication products and services into the Federal Government Client enterprise. Qualified candidate will be able to Engineer complex A/V solutions and provide expert level (Tier 4) troubleshooting support focused on all enterprise integrated A/V capabilities on all enterprise enclaves. Ability to travel to locations for installation and/or troubleshooting Audio/Video systems as needed.

    Required: Top Secret Clearance, with ability to obtain SCI.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide high level technical knowledge required for engineering, integrating, deploying, and installing A/V systems, including familiarity with foundation technologies, networking, server, operating systems, and terminology.
    • Responsible for engineering Audio/Video systems for spaces that meet standardized criteria and custom requirements for offices, conference rooms, and other mission-centered spaces.
    • Coordinate and perform site surveys in support of new A/V system installations for review and verification by the Government.
    • Coordinate and perform on-site assessments of existing A/V systems to verify configurations, support documentation, available resources, and environment constraints.
    • Install A/V systems and provide support for installing systems as required.
    • Troubleshoot A/V systems and provide support for continuous operation of A/V systems as required.
    • Remediate A/V systems as approved by the government.
    • Upgrade existing streaming video systems, implement streaming video phone systems, perform streaming video system troubleshooting and repairs.
    • Provide expert advice to the client for modifications to maintain full capacity and uninterrupted service.
    • Provide technical knowledge required for engineering, integrating, deploying, and installing digital signage systems, including familiarity with foundation technologies, protocols, and communication standards.
    • Upgrade existing digital signage systems, implement digital signage phone systems, perform digital signage system troubleshooting and repairs, and provide expert advice for required modifications to maintain full capacity and uninterrupted service.

    Requirements

    Required Qualifications:

    • 3+ years of experience engineering complex A/V solutions.
    • Providing Tier IV troubleshooting support.
    • Basic knowledge and experience in designing, integrating AV systems infrastructure utilizing Creston Control Room Solutions, Cisco Networking, Dante Audio and A/V Switches.
    • Active Top-Secret Clearance, with ability to obtain SCI.
