    We are seeking a Senior Program Analyst to support our client in Washington DC. Please see below for the job description and desired qualifications;

    Responsibilities:

    The objective is to provide specialized expertise to complement the organization’s inherent resources for effective and efficient mission accomplishment and continuity, introduction of innovation, and enhancement of technical competence.

     

    **This position is currently telework eligible due to COVID, with in person meetings happening infrequently. When the Pentagon re-opens fully, this position will be 100% onsite.

     

    AQB is responsible for providing administrative support needed to enable Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) activities to include: assisting in editing, publishing, and maintaining SAB reports and briefs, tracking responses/actions from recommendations made by the SAB, processing all documentation for appointments and reappointments, and ensuring that SAB activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, and directives (FACA, AFI, DoDI, Ethics, etc.).

     

    Tasks for this position include:

    • Support the Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) Executive Director
    • Provide program management support
    • Control the flow of responses to tracked actions items and activities
    • Develop multi-functional logistic support plans (i.e. ground, air, coordinating meeting space, billeting)
    • Experience coordinating high level meetings between DoD Agencies and Private Sector
    • Experience with and comfortable editing scientific reports and other high-level documents and briefings for senior officials
    • Establish and manage data repositories on network drives
    • Document, transcribe, edit scientific reports and briefings for senior officials within the DoD
    • Process FOIA requests
    • Schedule, manage, support virtual meetings (all classification levels) from multiple sites across the US
    • Experience on A-, G-, S- staff or working at the HQ level (applicable to prior military only)
    • Assisting with set up and use of information technology (IT) support at meetings and events (computer, projector, screen, and internet or network connection).
    • Planning, organizing, scheduling, and executing meetings (in-person and virtual), out-briefs, and events for large groups of people associated with studies, S&T Reviews, and quarterly board meetings.
      • Maintaining and analyzing planning, scheduling, and management data
      • Studying, analyzing, and providing recommendations on requirements, acquisition strategies, program documentation, program phase transition plans, supplemental information, and program
      • Identifying and researching programmatic issues and tradeoffs in terms of required capabilities, costs, and
      • Reviewing and providing recommendations on existing and proposed Air Force acquisition and capability area policies and
    • Any other tasks closely associated with the performance of duties list above and as coordinated with the CO

     

    Qualifications:

    Active Secret

     

    Personnel at the Senior level in this position shall have a Master’s degree in a business discipline.

     

    A total of 10 years of defense experience with at least 1 year in a HQ staff position or 3 years’ experience in a Program Management Office or equivalent.
