GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

The Production Technician is primarily responsible for the production, assembly, and distribution of all outgoing publications to regional offices and clients around the world.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Produces and distributes a variety of pre-written publications with the use of high-volume production copier/binding machine;

• Maintains significant inventory of such publications in order to timely fill publications orders for our clients and regional offices;

• Maintains inventory of all paper needed to print publications; and assures that the production printer is working well at all times; including calling the vendor for service; also places service calls as need for other copier/printers in the office;

• Utilizes our inhouse software to generate invoices and emails to bill clients for their purchase of publications;

• Prepares and maintains report of quantity of publications sold to clients for registration packages and additional publications;

• Performs minor maintenance tasks under the supervision/training of Xerox Technician; and

• Ability to perform other duties, as assigned.

Experience, Education and Certification

• High School degree or GED required. College degree preferred.

• Minimum one year of clerical experience.

• Maritime experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office application and use of general office equipment

• Ability to organize and prioritize work and meet deadlines.

• Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to work in a team environment.

• Speak and understand English.

• Strong skills in English grammar and composition
