POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Electrical Project Manager is responsible for the execution of electrical construction projects in adherence with company standards for safety, quality and profitability.  This position requires expert-level understanding of project contracts, scheduling, budgeting, cost accounting and client management and requires outstanding communication and customer service skills. 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure adherence to project budget and report potential risks or discrepancies to proper authorities
• Manage and control all financial aspects of the project, including budget and projections
• Coordinate labor and material requirements with Superintendent and Support Staff
• Prepare project budgets and profit projections
• Review RFQ/RFP documents and solicit appropriate subcontractors and vendors
• Manage client relationship and represent the company in exemplary fashion

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Understands complex project plans, specifications and schedule as well as the necessary resources required to complete projects on-time and under-budget
• A high-level of expertise in all phases of electrical design and construction
• Engineering or Construction Management Degree strongly preferred
• 10+ years combined experience leading electrical construction projects and teams
