Email Marketing / Automation Specialist

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Email Marketing / Automation Specialist will implement and maintain email marketing, SMS, and artificial intelligence strategies through our automation platforms for existing and prospective customers. This role will compile, create, and actively maintain email marketing lists for campaigns and events and will have first-hand knowledge to manage user preferences.

The Email Marketing / Automation Specialist will be responsible for increasing efficiency and conversion through our paid and unpaid channels by improving messaging and the customer life cycle. Reporting to the CEO, the Email Marketing / Automation Specialist will be heavily involved in strategy, creative, and implementation. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Build email marketing, SMS, and artificial intelligence campaigns to promote products and services, nurture leads, and promote multiple brands
• Schedule, test and send messages using email automation software
• Coordinate full-funnel automation email nurturing workflows
• Optimize results by testing subject lines, personalization, creative, copy, etc.
• Manage schedules of all email, SMS, and artificial intelligence deployments including email marketing calendar
• Report on email, SMS, and artificial intelligence campaigns results and monitor improvements
• Manage A/B testing of new creative and copy for email, SMS, and artificial intelligence campaigns
• Work with developers to create mobile-friendly marketing templates that adhere to best practices and ensure regulatory compliance
• Present new opportunities and ideas around messaging and email, SMS, and artificial intelligence campaigns
• Create, support, execute and measure engaging and highly-converting email, SMS, and artificial intelligence marketing strategies to support ongoing B2C lead nurturing campaigns

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1-2 years of experience in a marketing role, preferably email SMS, and artificial intelligence marketing
• Knowledge of email and text communication and distribution techniques that engage customers and drive sales
• Knowledge and familiarity with automation and email service provider software
• Knowledge of Google Analytics
• Strong communication skills
• Detail-oriented
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
