    Job Description

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    ·         Review and Interpret Customer Contracts

    ·         Set-up new customers, Project Contracts, Project Rates and Projects in finance and accounting system

    ·         Maintain customer budgets in finance and accounting system

    ·         Prepare customer invoices

    ·         Issues invoices to customer through various channels

    ·         Work with Project Managers to manage customer accounts and prepare monthly invoices

    ·         Compile and maintain documents and records of all billings

    ·         Process credit memos, additional billings and accounts receivable adjustments

    ·         Handle billing inquiries from customers

    ·         Maintains Accounts Receivable

    ·         Manage aged bills and inform customers regarding payments

    ·         Issue customer account statements

    ·         Enter accounts payable bills and credit card charges into accounting system

    ·         Monthly reconciliation of company credit cards

    ·         Maintain vendor accounts

    ·         Process employee expense reports

    ·         Responsible for answering all incoming calls

    ·         Perform other duties as assigned

     

    REQUIREMENTS:

    ·         Demonstrated knowledge of accounting and understanding of the General Ledger accounts and how they relate to invoices and budgets, as well as reconciliation procedures

    ·         Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within all company departments as well as with any customers Demonstrated ability to meet company and customer billing deadlines

    ·         Exceptional attention to details, ability to multi-task, work successfully under pressure and effectively prioritize and manage time and workload to meet company needs

     

    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

    ·         High Diploma required; BS/BA in accounting preferred

    ·         Minimum 2 years of general billing experience

    ·         Experience in construction industry strongly preferred

    ·         Experience with QuickBooks and Time Slips

    ·         Proficient with MS Excel and MS Word
