    S.R.T. Med-Staff is hosting a Job Fair to recruit Personal Support Workers to work in Mississauga. Interviews will be held on site and pre-registration is required. To Register by phone: 416 968 0833 ext. 2290 To Register by email: hr@srtmedstaff.com When: March 14, 2019 from 10:00am to 2:00pm Where: 89 Queensway West Suite 603 Mississauga, ON L5B 2V2 Responsibilities: • Provide clinical knowledge, support, and supervision for nurses (RNs/RPNs). • Provide delegated training and identify the educational needs of staff and assist them in achieving learning objectives. • Ensure the delivery of safe, competent, and compassionate frontline care. • Conduct home visits to monitor field staff’s skills, performance, and patient interactions. • Maintain flexibility for responding to impromptu and scheduled office visits with field staff. • Provide constructive feedback to staff, as necessary. • Ensure adherence to ethical practices and investigate any reported ethical dilemmas. • Conduct probationary and annual performance reviews for staff. • Participate in orientation and educational sessions. • Participate in rotating on-call schedule. • Complete all other tasks as assigned. Qualifications: • PSW certification or successful completion of 1 year of the nursing program. • Minimum 1-year full-time work experience as a Personal Support Worker is preferred. • Immunization for hepatitis B, measles, rubella and varicella, as well as a recent tuberculosis screening (TB Step 2 test results or chest X-Ray). • Police Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening done within the last 12 months. • Current CPR and First Aid. • Second language is considered an asset.
