We have an opportunity for a full time Nurse Practitioner to join our team for in our Hammond clinic. To be considered you must have a current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license “APRN” and submit a complete resume with employment dates and specific job duties.

Ideal candidates would have the following education, skills and experience:

• Master’s degree in nursing.

• Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Louisiana.

• Prefer nephrology experience.

• Able to treat patients with a compassionate, comprehensive manner.

• Able to positively interact and develop rapport with patients and their families, professional support staff, and team members.

• Able to effectively communicate both in writing and verbally.

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Create records relating to professional services rendered.

• Work directly with patients.

• Conduct initial medical screenings for new patients.

• Review laboratory and radiology reports of patients and take appropriate follow-up action.

• Document patient notes in the electronic health records.

• Work efficiently and in cooperation with other medical professionals and clinic employees.

• Provide patient care services promptly, efficiently, and in strict accordance with the ethical and professional standards for the provision of health care standards adopted by the practice.
