S and S & Events is looking for intelligent individuals with a strong work ethic to work with our Events setup team. We work in many great venues in the Kansas City and are setting up for their events. Our team works with venues and coordinators to set up sporting events, fundraising galas, weddings, and corporate parties. Job includes some heavy lifting of tables and chairs, linens, catering equipment, etc. Responsibilities: Job description sometimes includes but is not limited to: • Pick up items from rental companies and deliver them to the customer • Set up tables and chairs • Breakdown tables and chairs after events • Return equipment to the rental company Qualifications: • Must be able to lift approximately 50 pounds • Must have transportation to and from locations (some locations are not on a bus line) • Must be personable and accomodating • Great customer service is a must Compensation: $15 - $16 hourly
