PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
Prepare and cook large quantities of food for institutions, such as cafeterias.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepares soups, meats, poultry, fish, beverages, vegetables, sauces, salads, and desserts in bulk quantities.
Determines portions and servings to patrons.
Assists Supervisors in operational requirements of cafeteria.
Maintains cleanliness of kitchen area and all equipment.
Perform/Assist in all duties for catering.
All other duties assigned.
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Must be a U.S. Citizen in order to obtain required NASA badge.
Must be able to provide a certified Birth Certificate (with state seal), Passport, or INSCitizenship documents on date of hire (candidate will be sent home if this paperworkis not provided upon arrival on date of hire).
Must have the ability to communicate the English language, both verbally and written, in an effective manner.
Must have, and maintain, a valid driver’s license.
