  • Responsibilities

    The Manufacturing Coordinator is responsible and accountable for implementing complex Machine and Weld Shop projects.  The Manufacturing Coordinator works closely with the Machine and Weld Shop Supervisors, MAF & SSC Customers, and contractors to ensure all manufacturing work is completed to comply with design requirements, specifications, on time and within the assigned budget, with an emphasis on ensuring work is completed safely.

     

    • Responsible for compiling project procurement packages, planning, execution, control, and close out
    • Manages budgets, schedules, scope, contracts, documents, procedures and controls for assigned projects
    • Prepare and review Process Plans and to ensure project work is in compliance
    • Possess knowledge of the Design Data Management System (DDMS)
    • Coordinate with multiple departments to ensure all phases of the project are successful
    • Coordinate with Vendors and Buyers to ensure correct information is submitted on Purchase Orders to meet project schedule
    • Responsible for overall project delivery (cost, schedule, quality, information, contracts) on multiple project assignments
    • Inspect and take receipt of project materials
    • Possess knowledge of Maximo and work flow
    • Serves as best practices/quality resources within own discipline or as technical expert on functional or cross-functional teams or projects
    • Attends assigned meetings to cover weekly job progress meetings
    • Possess excellent communication skills and can multitask in a fast pace environment
    • Performs other job responsibilities as assigned

     

    Qualifications

     

    • Two year technical degree or 5 or more years’ experience with Machine and Weld Shops.
    • Possess knowledge of machining processes and an understanding of tooling.
    • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite & Microsoft Excel preferred
