    Position Overview

    We are seeking a skilled Electronics Repair Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electronic components and systems, coupled with excellent troubleshooting and repair abilities. The Electronics Repair Technician will play a key role in the refurbishment process, ensuring that each device meets our quality standards and customer expectations.

    Our ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of electronics repair experience. The candidate must be able to pass a full background check, be able to lift at least a minimum of 50 lbs., and must be punctual.

    Responsibilities

    • Evaluate and diagnose electronic devices to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
    • Disassemble and reassemble electronic devices, including smartphones, tablets, laptops, printers, scanners, teleconferencing equipment and other consumer electronics.
    • Replace faulty components, such as screens, batteries, circuit boards and connectors, using appropriate tools and techniques.
    • Conduct thorough testing and quality checks on refurbished devices to ensure functionality and performance meets established standards.
    • Perform software updates, data wiping and factory resets as needed.
    • Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts inventory and refurbishment activities.
    • Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve efficiency in the refurbishment workflow.
    • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines when handling electronic components and equipment.
    • Stay informed about new technologies and industry trends related to electronics refurbishment.

    Education amp; Requirements

    • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or training preferred.
    • Proven experience in electronics repair, refurbishment or related field.
    • Strong proficiency in troubleshooting electronic devices and diagnosing hardware and software issues.
    • Experience with testing printers, scanners, teleconferencing equipment and other office electronics.
    • Familiarity with electronic testing equipment, soldering tools and repair software.
    • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Commitment to safety protocols and adherence to environmental regulations regarding electronic waste disposal.

    Hours: 7:00a - 3:30p Monday - Friday
