SALARY + COMMISSIONS: BASE, PLUS UNCAPPED COMMISSIONS. AN $800,000 TERRITORY WILL YIELD A SALARY + COMMISSION TOTAL OF OVER $100,000. THIS NUMBER DOESN’T INCLUDE ANY OF OUR BONUS PAYOUT EITHER!
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Our Account Executives ACTIVELY ENGAGE WITH NATIONAL BUSINESSES, CREATE LONG- TERM RELATIONSHIPS, AND SELL PRINT, DIGITAL, ELECTRONIC, WEB-BASED AND CUSTOM ADVERTISING OPTIONS to these national businesses.
REQUIREMENTS:
2 plus years of inside or outside B2B experience and/or new business development—in some cases other sales experience will be considered.
Advertising sales or marketing sales experience a definite plus.
Hunter mentality!
All of our leads are warm! Why? Just about all of them are doing something in the market (trade shows, competitive publications, competitive digital/electronic products, directories, etc. Our Account Executives believe this is an important aspect of their career here.
Not much travel—maybe a trade show or two a year.
Experience with new business development and lead generation
Outgoing, friendly, motivated self-starter with excellent interpersonal and sales skills
Entrepreneurial minded, professional in appearance and demeanor
Good business ethics and ability to represent our brand in a professional and enthusiastic manner
