We are looking for front of the house cashier personnel to ensure all daily activities run smoothly and efficiently. FOH cashier responsibilities include having a good understanding of what makes a great customer service. You should be available to work within opening hours, including weekends and holidays. Ultimately, boost our customer retention and deliver a positive dining experience for our guests. Job Duties: -Maintain a professional profile that includes hygiene, cleanliness, timeliness and professionalism. -Maintain work areas clean and organized as per health code. (i.e., chemicals never stored near food, never mixing chemicals without prior knowledge or training, dirty dishes with dirty dishes and clean dishes neatly organized in their proper storage places) -Have knowledge on food being prepared (i.e. taste, descriptions and procedures) for the consumption of clients. -Removal of trash bins and waste that include; replacing bags, taking waste to its proper areas, washing and sanitizing stations after use, reporting any disposal or product problems/ needs or emergencies to the immediate supervisor on shift. -Keeping par of station needs such as gloves, aprons, prepped food product, to go bags, to go containers etc. -Clean and sanitize surfaces throughout the shift such as counters, to go table, areas of high use -Stocking and restocking drinks, utensils, cashier items such as staples, pens, paper. -Counting cash drawer in the beginning of shift and the end of shift or before shift change -label bags and to go orders -Organize orders and hand them to guests or delivery personnel -Provides a positive customer experience with fair, friendly, and courteous service. -Registers sales on a cash register by scanning items, itemizing and totaling customers' purchases. -Resolves customer issues and answers questions. -knowledge of POS system -familiarize with food or drink special sale bulletins as well as the 86 list provided by the manager on duty. -Coordinate communication between front of the house and back of the house staff -Collects payments by accepting cash or charge payments from customers and makes change for cash customers. -Provides pricing information by answering questions. -Maintains checkout operations by following policies and procedures and reporting needed changes. -Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. - Be yourself. Skills Previous front of the house and/or cashier experience (1+year) Familiarity with restaurant POS systems General customer service COMPENSATION: $10-$12 AN HOUR PLUS TIPS
