Stoney Creek Ace Hardware in Whitsett, NC is looking for a knowledgeable and customer-focused Sales Associate with hands-on electrical and plumbing experience to join our team. Responsibilities:

Assist customers in locating and selecting electrical and plumbing products, parts, and supplies

Provide expert advice and troubleshooting guidance for electrical wiring, fixtures, pipe fittings, and related projects

Maintain product knowledge across a wide range of hardware categories to support upselling and cross-selling

Stock, organize, and merchandise electrical and plumbing departments to ensure a clean and shoppable floor

Process customer transactions accurately at the register using POS systems

Build lasting customer relationships through friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful service

Receive and process incoming inventory and assist with store stocking as needed

Requirements:

Demonstrated hands-on experience in electrical and/or plumbing trades or related field

Ability to read and interpret basic wiring diagrams, pipe schematics, or product specifications

Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor

Retail or hardware store experience is a plus

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs

Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player

Computer skills required

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
