    PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES The SAP Academy for People and Business Transformation provides an extraordinary career start for graduates who want to drive SAP’s transformation into an intelligent, sustainable enterprise. Academy participants will help streamline and rethink internal processes and systems as well as transform and drive our people strategy through a 1-year rotational program. As an Early Career Talent, you will rotate through three teams that orchestrate simplification at SAP. Rotation teams include HR Business Partners, Marketing & Solutions Operations, Data & Analytics, Intelligent Enterprise Solutions, Corporate Transformation, Marketing & Solutions Operations, HR Centers of Excellence, Business Partners, SAP Learning and many more.

     

    ROTATIONAL ACADEMY PROGRAM During the 12-month academy program, we offer you three rotations to find out or confirm where your passion is, to explore exciting new fields even outside of your study focus, and to gain insights into different teams that focus on driving the transformation of SAP. 

     

    Throughout the year, you will gain a deep understanding of the internal end-user needs via several shadowing assignments in relevant business and HR units. In addition, we provide you with continuous on-the-job learning and classroom trainings, several learning weeks and a dedicated mentor. Thereby, we ensure your constant development. After a successful completion of the program, you will join one of the teams in our unit matching your skills and interests.

    The official start date of the SAP Academy for People and Business Transformation program is April 1, 2023. Applicants who make it through the first application round will be invited to an interview assessment day in December 2022.

     

    We strive to make our application and recruiting process as accessible as possible for everyone, e.g. via live captions during our phone interviews and the assessment day. Therefore, we encourage especially those applicants with different abilities to apply for the Academy program.

     

    EXPECTATIONS  As an Academy member your main goal will be to make the most of this program by gaining a broad overview of end-to-end processes in Operations and/or HR as well as your role at SAP. We are looking for Early Career Talents with the following mindset:

    EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

    • Academy participants must be willing to travel both domestically and internationally throughout the one-year program 
    • Academy participants must be located within commuting distance to any US SAP office to allow for a hybrid in office working schedule.     
    • Bachelor's degree in business administration, business informatics, psychology, human resource management or a related field completed in the last two years (including December 2022 graduates) is required. 
    • Master's degree in a related field completed in the last two years (including December 2022 graduates) is preferred. 
    • Understanding the impact of digitalization to an IT company and what it means for people, processes, or technology
    • Passion for and experience in an IT or similar business with either a technical or people focus, e.g., as intern or working student
    • Be able to analyze and understand customer requirements and transfer them into memorable experiences
    • Apply solid communication skills and empathy with stakeholders, customers, and peers
    • Fluent in English (proficiency in other languages is a plus, but not required)

     

     

    BENEFICIAL:

    • International experience through at least one experience abroad (study abroad or other international expereince)
    • Experiences with project management, agile and/or scrum
