We are seeking an SAP ERP Architect/Consultant for BOP FPI to support the Department of Justice (DOJ) Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP), Federal Prison Industries (FPI), operating as UNICOR. This is a remote opportunity with occasional travel to Washington, D.C. and / or FPI field locations, as required.

    So, what will the SAP ERP Architect/Consultant at Terrestris do?

    As the SAP ERP Architect/Consultant, you will assist FPI with current SAP system configurations and provide senior-level expertise across SAP modules in use, including Production Planning, Sales and Distribution, Materials Management, Payroll, and General Ledger. The contractor will support FPI business processes related to SAP, including module-specific workflows and third-party system interfaces.

    What does a typical day look like for the SAP ERP Architect/Consultant?

    You will:

    • Lead and coordinate SAP ERP projects across functional and technical teams.
    • Support configuration, integration, and operation of SAP ERP, including S/4HANA upgrades.
    • Provide troubleshooting support and system performance recommendations.
    • Support SAP integrations, third-party interfaces, and testing activities.
    • Deliver knowledge transfer and informal training to junior staff.
    • Assist with cost tracking and project reporting.

    What qualifications do you look for?

    You might be the professional we're looking for if you have:

    • Authorization to work in the U.S. permanently without sponsorship.
    • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance..
    • Bachelor's degree with preferred study in information technology, computer science, business or equivalent experience and certifications.
    • (2) years' experience FPIs SAP integration options to include configuration of third-party software and SAP configuration module.
    • (2) years' experience providing training and knowledge transfer to new and junior level staff.
    • (1) year experience FPI's US Treasury G-Invoicing and SAP API integration.
    • (2) years' experience FPI business processes to include but not limited to supply chain management, materials management and production planning.
    • (2) years' experience project management expertise, coordinating functional and technical team efforts for projects as assigned.
    • (1) year experience assistance in the upgrade of the SAP S/4 HANA during support pack or version updates.
    • (2) years' experience providing troubleshooting assistance when issues arise within the FPI SAP ERP system.
    • (2) years' experience providing recommendations to further improve system performance.
    • Experience with SAP integrations, third-party interfaces, and troubleshooting.
    • Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA upgrades.
    • Familiarity with U.S. Treasury G-Invoicing and SAP APIs preferred.
