    What you’ll do:

    Position title: SAP IT iXp Intern – Performance Engineer

    Location: Newtown Square, PA

    Expected start date: May/June 2024

    • Support the team in identifying and resolving issues related to system performance, availability, and scalability.

    • Assist in the creation and maintenance of dashboards, alerts, and reports to provide real-time visibility into system health and performance.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement monitoring solutions for new projects and initiatives.

    • Help in the analysis of monitoring data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, and provide insights for improving system performance and reliability.

    • Contribute to the documentation of observability and monitoring processes, best practices, and standard operating procedures.

    • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in observability, monitoring, and AIOps, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

    • Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and knowledge sharing activities to contribute to the overall success of the observability and monitoring initiatives.

    • Help define, document, develop and support Test Automation

    • Attention to detail: The candidate should be meticulous and detail-oriented and well organized. They should have the capability to spot trends, patterns, and outliers that may require further investigation.

    • Collaboration and communication: the candidate should understand the importance of effective communication and collaboration in a team setting and be open to feedback and eager to learn from others.

    • Adaptability and flexibility: The field of observability and monitoring is constantly evolving, with new tools and techniques emerging regularly. The candidate should be adaptable and quick to learn new technologies and methodologies.

    • Degree focus should be Data science, Analytics or Computer Science related.

    Compensation Range Transparency : SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the hourly base salary rate range applicable for the posted role. The targeted range for this position is 15-62 (USD) USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidates will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. SAP offers limited benefits for employees hired into hourly or like roles subject to appliable plan/policy terms.
