Summary:

Flybridge Advisors is seeking a highly motivated entry to mid-level SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) Data Steward / Quality Specialist to join our team and play a critical role in helping our Fortune 1000 clients achieve the highest levels of data quality and Enterprise Data Management. In this role, you will leverage your deep understanding of data quality principles, methodologies, and tools to assess, improve, and maintain our clients' critical data assets' accuracy, completeness, consistency, and reliability. Responsibilities:

Data Quality Assessment:

• Conduct data quality assessments to identify issues, risks, and root causes.

• Utilize data profiling, discovery, and statistical analysis techniques to analyze data patterns, identify anomalies, and measure data quality dimensions.

• Develop and present clear and concise reports on data quality findings and recommendations.

Data Quality Improvement:

• Design and implement data quality improvement plans, including data cleansing, standardization, enrichment, and deduplication strategies.

• Develop and enforce data quality rules, thresholds, and validation checks.

• Implement data quality monitoring and reporting processes to track progress and identify emerging issues.

Data Quality Tooling and Technology:

• Evaluate, select, and implement data quality tools and technologies to support data quality initiatives.

• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to provide visibility into data quality metrics and trends.

• Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging data quality technologies.

Client Collaboration and Communication:

• Collaborate closely with client stakeholders to understand their data quality requirements and challenges.

• Effectively communicate data quality concepts, findings, and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.

• Provide guidance and training to client teams on best practices and tools for data quality.

Methodology and Best Practices:

• Contribute to developing and refining data quality methodologies and best practices within the consulting firm.

• Research and evaluate new data quality techniques and approaches to enhance service offerings.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in a data quality-focused role, with proven expertise in data quality assessment, improvement, and management.

• 1-3 years experience with SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) as a Quality Consultant or Data Steward responsible for ensuring the quality and security of data within an organization.

• Strong understanding of the principles of MDM - including data governance, quality, integration, and lifecycle management.

• Experience with Customer, Vendor, item, and transaction data elements.

• Proficiency in data quality tools and technologies

• Experience with data profiling, data cleansing, and data standardization techniques.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in a related field.

• Experience in a consulting environment.

• Industry certifications in data management (e.g., CDMP, IQCP).
