Location: Sylvan Learning Center – Coral Gables / South Miami Area Position Type: Part-Time Schedule: Afternoons, evenings, and weekends Compensation: 30/hour (starting; increase upon showing results)

Sylvan Learning Center is looking for a motivated and reliable SAT/ACT Math Tutor (bonus if you can also tutor for Reading & Writing) to work with high school students preparing for the SAT/ACT.

We are looking for someone who is confident in teaching SAT/ACT Math (plus Reading & Writing, preferred) and test-taking strategies. The ideal candidate enjoys working with teenagers, is patient, organized, and able to explain concepts clearly.

Responsibilities:

Tutor students in SAT Math (bonus: also Reading & Writing)

Help students improve test-taking strategies and confidence

Prepare students for SAT practice tests and official exams

Track student progress and provide feedback

Create a positive and supportive learning environment

Requirements:

Strong knowledge of SAT Math (bonus: Reading & Writing also)

Prior tutoring or teaching experience

Excellent communication skills

Reliable, patient, and professional

Must be available during afternoons/evenings and Saturday mornings (flexible)

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience preparing students for the SAT, ACT, or other standardized tests

Background in education, Math, English, or related field

Ability to motivate and support high school students
