    JOB TITLE: AESTHETIC PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT or AESTHETIC NURSE PRACTITIONER

    REPORTS TO: DR. SARAH SAXON and COO

    Job Summary:

    Provides excellent patient care while assisting the physician in all areas of medicine to examine, diagnose, and treat patients and offer surgical assistance. Including admitting and discharging patients, making rounds, and wound care; there is also an opportunity to perform minor in-office procedures and skin treatments.

    Premises and Equipment:

    Maintaining standards of cleaning and hygiene throughout the building.

    Complies with aspects of Health and Safety legislation such as HIPAA and OSHA.

    Coordinates "patient flow" and room moves as required.

    Information and communication:

    Communicates effectively with other team members.

    Keeps Dr. Saxon, COO, and Practice Manager, abreast of forthcoming changes in scheduling and gives options for responding to changes.

    Ensure all companies, entities, patients, and family members are fully informed of procedures, including time, date, location, instructions, and technical needs.

    Patient Services:

    Developing and managing treatment plans

    Performing patient pre-operative and post-operative exams

    Perform blood draws for treatments (PRP/PRF, etc.)

    Prepare patients for examinations and conduct routine procedures (measure blood pressure and temperature, administer injections, etc.)

    Provide therapeutic treatments (disinfecting wounds, stitching, etc.)

    Ordering and interpreting laboratory tests and X-rays

    Prescribing medications

    First assist in surgery, including retraction and suturing.

    Perform minor in-office procedures and treatments.

    Perform consultations, deliver treatment plans, and see patients monthly for weight loss injections.

    Advising patients on pre and post-op instructions, preventative care, and optimal health practices.

    Perform cosmetic consultations and treatments such as injections for neurotoxins & dermal fillers, nerve blocks, laser treatments, radiofrequency micro-needling, noninvasive body treatments, and any other tasks as directed by Dr. Saxon, the COO or the Practice Manager.

    Information and communication:

    Communicate effectively with other team members.

    Keep Dr. Saxon abreast of forthcoming marketing/brand representation changes and give options for responding to changes.

    Qualifications:

    PA-C (Preferred)

    Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (Preferred)

    Laser Certificate (Preferred)

    2 years Experience in an aesthetic practice is preferable

    Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

    Must be available 9:00 am – 5:30 pm, Monday-Friday and Saturday as needed
