    Salary:

    The annual salary for this position ranges from $183,000 - $222,000 + 15% Bonus Target and varies based on specific responsibilities and geographic location. Starting annual salary within this range will be determined based on the candidate's experience, qualifications, and/or skillset.

    Summary:

    The SBS Program Architect will serve as the principal functional and technical architect for a multi‑year, global Microsoft Dynamics 365 transformation program spanning 30+ implementations across multiple countries and businesses. This role is responsible is responsible for defining and governing the end-to-end target architecture, establishing standards, and driving the global design for Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management (F&SCM) and its related technology ecosystem.

    The SBS Program Architect will lead the global template (core processes, configurations, extensions, integrations, and reporting) definition and governance, validate multi‑wave deployments, and ensure scalable, secure, and high‑performing solutions for our diverse manufacturing and services businesses—covering order‑to‑cash, plan‑to‑produce, procure‑to‑pay, record‑to‑report, service‑to‑cash, and data and analytics at global scale. Partners with business and IT leaders to drive fit-to-standard adoption, measurable value, and sustainable operating model. This role is an integral part of the SBS Program Office and reports the Senior Director, SBS Program with a dotted-lined to the VP, IT Apps and Data Services.

    Essential Functions:

    • Own the target solution architecture and roadmap for D365 F&SCM and associated technology stacks; govern the global template and enforce standards, balancing extensibiiltiy vs configuration and fit-to-standard
    • Lead template design for core value streams (Order-to Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Plan/Make-to-Stock, Record-to-Report, Service-to-Cash) with a robust localization strategy (statutory, fiscal, regulatory)
    • Support and validate multi-wave deployments; solution design, build, testing, and cutover; ensure reuse, quality gates, and predictable delivery
    • Collaborate closely with System Analysts as the key connection for deployment initiates to foster a cooperative environment and continuous dialogue, while partnering with work councils to integrate technical solutions with business objectives and compliance standards.
    • Define and oversee integration strategy using Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, Service Bus, Functions, API Management, Event Grid), Dataverse/dual-write, OData/REST, and EDI (X12/EDIFACT)
    • Partner on data architecture & migration (MDM, product lifecycle governance, DIXF/DMF, BYOD) and analytics (Microsoft Fabric/Synapse, Data Lake, Power BI), including telemetry via Application Insights and LCS.
    • Co-facilitate in design role-based security & SoD aligned to SOX/ITGC, GDPR, and export controls; drive ALM with Azure DevOps, CI/CD, and test automation (i.e. RSAT)
    • Manage ISVs (RACI, SOWs, SLAs); conduct design reviews, enforce quality standards, and mentor internal functional & technical teams
    • Coordinate with System Analysts KPIs/OKRs (adoption, quality, cycle time, performance, support trends, value realization); provide clear risk/decision framing to Steering & Working Council
    • Drive business change with the process council and functional systems analyst
    • Define the SBS target architecture and five year solution roadmap for a multi entity, multi currency, multi language manufacturing enterprise
    • Establish and govern a SBS global template (core processes, configurations, extensions, integrations, and reporting) with a robust localization strategy (statutory, fiscal, and regulatory)
    • Create enterprise patterns for extensibility vs. configuration, fit to standard, and ISV selection to minimize technical debt while meeting business outcomes
    • Actively participate in working councils (Demand, Supply, Parts & Service, Finance, and Data Management) and support the various Steering Committees
    • Mentor and partner with domain functional Systems Analyst, and technical teams; grow internal capability
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Education:

    Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
    Master’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering/Operations, or MBA is preferred

    • Preferred certifications:
      • * TOGAF or equivalent enterprise architecture credential
        
      • Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt – aligns with process optimization and continuous improvement within value streams.
      • Microsoft Certified:
        • Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant Associate
        • Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management Functional Consultant Associate
        • Dynamics 365/Power Platform Solution Architect (Expert level)
        • Dynamics 365 Sales / Customer Service / Field Service Functional Consultant Associate
      • PMP (Project Management Professional) – for structured project execution.
      • Prosci Change Management Certification – supports organizational readiness and adoption strategies
      • ITIL v4 Foundation or higher
      • Cloud/DevOps/Security certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer, Azure Administrator, Security/Identity)

    Experience:

    • 15+ years total experience in large scale ERP programs, including 5+ years architecting Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&SCM in manufacturing
    • Proven leadership across ten (10) plus ERP rollouts with multi-entity, multi-currency, and multi-country scope
    • Hands on ownership of global template design and governance; balancing standardization with localization
    • Deep experience integrating ERP with CRM/CE, field service, and external systems (PLM, MES, EDI, tax, shipping, CPQ)
    • Track record with Azure Integration Services, Dataverse/dual write, data migration at scale, and Power Platform
    • Strong background in discrete and continuous flow manufacturing processes, shop floor, quality, and advanced warehousing
    • Demonstrated leadership of ISVs, vendor selection, and contract/SOW oversight
    • Practical experience with ALM (Azure DevOps), test automation (including RSAT, Testmart), performance engineering, security/SoD, and compliance (SOX/ITGC)
    • Excellent stakeholder management with executives and regional leaders; clear, concise communication
    • Preferred:
      • * Industry experience in industrial equipment and packaging consumables
        
      • Integrations with PLM/MES (e.g., Bluestar, Aras, Windchill), and tax/EDI/shipping ISVs (e.g., Vertex/Avalara, SPS/TrueCommerce, Ship/Parcel solutions)
      • Exposure to Microsoft Fabric/Synapse, Power BI semantic modeling, and near real-time telemetry.
      • Experience with Connected Field Service/IoT, device telemetry, and predictive maintenance scenarios
      • Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA or Oracle Cloud ERP beneficial for cross pollination
      • Collaboration with teams across cultures and time zones; multilingual a plus
