    MARKETING SPECIALIST

    The Marketing Specialist will handle critical marketing, and administrative tasks that positively impact the organization. This position will support the Sr. Marketing Coordinator in all marketing efforts. The Marketing Specialist will work on time-sensitive projects that require a superb attention to detail.

    This is a learning role and candidates will be trained on key responsibilities.

    Candidates will only be considered if they possess strong organization skills, comfort with ambiguity, ability to problem solve and collaborate and desire to bring value to a busy team supporting numerous high profile corporate initiatives.

    SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGEMENT

    • Build and manage the company's social media profiles and presence, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and additional channels that may be deemed relevant.
    • Connect with influential media outlets and journalists to place stories about company news and other initiatives
    • Stay up-to-date with digital marketing trends and potential new channels and strategies to keep us ahead, including updates to social media marketing, attribution, and programmatic media buying.
    • Run regular social promotions and campaigns and track their success (e.g., Twitter chats, LinkedIn discussions, etc.).
    • Blog on an ongoing basis to support and promote your offers and to attract site visitors through search, social media, and email subscribers.
    • Track, measure, and analyze all initiatives to report on social media ROI.
    • Drive consistent, relevant traffic and leads from our social network presence.
    • Monitor and engage in relevant social discussions about our company, competitors, and/or industry, both from existing leads and customers as well as from brand new audiences.
    • Explore new ways to engage and identify new social networks to reach our target buyers.
    • Scope and create templates for our marketing team to be more efficient in their posting on social media, the blog, email, and other channel

    EVENT MANAGEMENT

    • Manage all trade show activities including registration, collateral and inventory storage and shipping, staffing and logistics
    • Develop strategic event plan and lead event planning, including working with vendors, event coordinators, and design teams for on-site collateral.
    • Develop a plan for each trade show to include:  key account targets, educational sessions for each registrant to attend, coordination of accommodations, coordinate meeting sites for customer visits, schedule pre-call or on-site meeting and complete an overview of the show once completed including expectations on lead follow up.
    • Maximize the spend for all Trade Shows to include lead management and overall ROI on shows
    • Help coordinate all aspects of marketing collateral required for Conference's (handouts, brochures, nametags, pre-show communication…)
    • Maintain Trade Show calendar
    • Site Visit Oversite and Coordination
    • Participate in other onsite, customer facing events

    DATABASE MAINTENANCE

    • Maintain Salesforce.com functionality
    • Develop and provide reporting tools from Salesforce.com
    • Assure data integrity in Salesforce.com
    • Manage data entry into Salesforce.com
    • Build and maintain RFP Library

    SALES & MARKETING ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Manage internal training needs for Sales and Marketing
      • o On line training session assignment to Sales and Marketing team members
      • o Assure that non-essential sessions are removed from “REQUIRED” list for Sales and Marketing team members under the guidance of Sales Leadership
      • o Coordinate efforts to embed Learning Management sessions specific to sales effectiveness for both Product Specific and Sales Enhancement training needs
      • o Create training manuals for onboarding of new sales team members

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Excellent communicator, able to collaborate well with internal teams, both technical and non-technical
    • Excellent technical writing, proof reading, and editing skills
    • Experienced multi-tasker
    • Proficiency with Salesforce.com

    SUMMARY OF EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

    • Bachelor's Degree
    • 3-5 years relevant working within a Marketing, Communications or Digital opportunity that involved support, coordination and project management
    • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
    • Possess strong communication skills for multi-level personnel - comfortable updating and following up with all levels.
    • Agency experience is preferred, but not required
